The conception of this inquiry form came from the use of one of our product, PlanetPress Suite.
In fact, the concept is pretty simple. Sending you personalized information via email or fax requires no human intervention at all!
Here is how we did it:

First, we created the document using the
PlanetPress Design.
Each product’s datasheet is imported dynamically, making it easy for the document to conditionally print them according to your selection criteria.

Once the layout was completed, we sent the document to
PlanetPress Watch
as well as to a color printer where it is stored on the hard drive for future use.

After you enter your selection on our web site, an ASP process sends your data to
PlanetPress Watch
which passes it on to
PlanetPress Image
in order to create a PDF file that is immediately sent to you via email;

PlanetPress Image
receives the data and rips the variable content document, automatically merging the data, which results in a dynamic PDF file. It then creates a SMTP email message, attaches the PDF file, and sends it to the to the email address you provided.

PlanetPress Image
is configured to archive copies of every PDF sent. If you requested that one of our representatives contact you, they can use
PlanetPress Search
to search for and retrieve an exact replica of the PDF file that was sent to you.
