Speller XT's language technology was devised by language institute *TALO, an expert
in language tools for the professional publishing industry.
From now on, critical errors in grammatical and lexical combinations are being detected
by Speller XT's Expression Control.
Each Language Collection in Speller XT consists of one or more language lexicon(s),
plus central and personal dictionaries. Users can save additions in personal dictionaries,
which can be made available to others through a convenient client/server structure.

The number of languages supported far outreaches the borders of Europe. The new
version is already fully compatible with QuarkXPress 7, both on the Macintosh and
Windows.
Hyphenator XT was developed to optimise hyphenation of a great number of languages.
As a result, QuarkXPress users no longer have to master a language, in order to
correctly hyphenate it.
Technology
Hyphenator XT uses the intelligent syllable technology from *TALO. General unifying
structures for syllabification are completed with linguistic patterns. Each language
module acts like a comparator which possesses an almost human understanding of the
target language with its own linguistic pattern. This *TALO technology has been
implemented into the software modules, as a result of which the accuracy
is of the highest level. It inserts hyphens, whilst keeping the text flow comprehensible.

Swiftly copy and apply complex formatting
Overview
With Multi Style XT, once the typographic settings (multistyles) have been defined,
they can be swiftly copied and pasted onto unformatted text.
A multistyle contains style attributes for one or more words or paragraphs. It is
even possible to specify various formatting styles within words and/or paragraphs.
The various text styles can be applied in one single page onto unformatted text.
Multi Style XT analyses the target text and applies the created multistyle based
on (sub)field separators.
