Does PlanetPress Suite run on Windows Vista?

Details

Running PlanetPress Suite applications on Windows Vista is not currently supported. Objectif Lune had originally planned to fully support the new OS with Version 6, but due to Vista's late availability, the certification had to be delayed until the next version of the Suite is released (e.g. V7). Based on the normal development cycle of our products, we estimate Version 7 should be available in the first half of the year 2009. Stay tuned to our web site for any updates.

It should be noted that all of the issues when running PlanetPress Suite on Vista are due to the more stringent user rights management of the OS. Therefore, if you run all the PlanetPress Suite applications and services (including PlanetPress Messenger) using a single user account that has administrator rights, there should be no problem other than a few of the now famous "Cancel or Allow" confirmation dialogs popping up from time to time. But remember that since this configuration is not officially supported by Objectif Lune, you are trying this at your own risk and our Support team cannot help you out if you run into any issue.
