When we want to change a form, we no longer have to redesign it, print new ones, and throw out the old ones. We simply redefine the form, and it comes out of the printer.

We no longer have to change printer paper (except for inserting “blow-off” labels) when we change forms.We have been able to do away with all pre-printed forms. Instead, we use regular laser paper (or blank “blow-off” labels) for pick-lists, invoices, etc., which saves a considerable amount of printing expense.

The product itself (PlanetPress Software) is an excellent tool for migrating line printer type applications to laser printers. Data enhancement with electronic form overlays, moving/copying/deleting variable data within a page, multiple fonts per page, artwork including boxes, lines, shading, and logos, paper tray selection, simplex/duplex selection, and conditional testing all combine to provide a tool that is tough to match.

Objectif Lune has always prided itself on achieving rated engine speed on postscript printers through the use of efficient postscript coding. Given the level of expertise in the postscript language I have observed within Objectif Lune, I fully expect this trend to continue as even more complex applications are expected from customers and are enabled with PlanetPress software.

Objectif Lune have been receptive to our concerns and responded with enhanced solutions and products that meet our needs when requested.
