Automated Document Distribution Management for Unlimited Printing to PostScript and Windows Printers

PlanetPress Server allows you to print to any printer in one of two ways. Print with an optimized, highly efficient, PostScript print stream that prints fast or print through the Windows Printing system to any Windows Print Driver. Via this method, all printers are easily supported, including thermal, inkjet and laser technologies.

Automate the processing, distribution and printing of your documents created with PlanetPress Design. Be more competitive by streamlining your document distribution workflow. Add the optional PlanetPress Imaging module to reduce costs and increase efficiency by delivering your documents via email, fax and/or archive.

1. Capture data. From one central location, PlanetPress Server can capture data streams from almost any source: shared folders, LPD, Windows print queues, serial ports, emails, FTP, ODBC compliant databases, RAW Socket printing and more. 2. From data to documents. PlanetPress Server looks at the data and routes it to the appropriate device to output the right document. You can also process the data to split it into several files, search and replace items, query ODBC compliant databases for additional information, apply business rules or redirect conditionally. 3. Distribute your documents. Print on any local or remote printers; send documents to companion module, PlanetPress Imaging, to create electronic versions, email, fax and archive them. Automatically post a digital version of your documents on the Web or on your FTP server.
