I noticed that the Service Console in pp7 has the ability to open old log files, which is what I needed to do.

After opening the logfile from yesterday, I noticed that the only information that the log parser shows is a single input process, out of 11 process that run constantly.

From 00:00 AM to 23:01 PM, it shows every instance of that 1 input, but not a single process for anything else (sorting, formatting, pdf output, or printing).

Very strange. The Console doesn't pick and choose, it merely displays the contents of the log file. Have you taken a look at the log itself (with a text editor, for instance)? Does it show these processes?

One more thing: the Console was redesigned in order to properly display the V7.4 logs. If the log you're looking at was generated using a previous version of the Workflow tool, the Console might not recognize some of the entries.

Where are these log files located?

I'm having a problem where the server stops working and I have to go into the service console and kill the Planet Press Production line, start it back up and then it works. We seem to be having this problem more often so I need to try and figure out why this is happening.

Ack. Sorry it took so long to get back to this. For some reason I'm not getting email notices anymore.

I'm using 7.4.0.6912

Archway, do a file search for the folder "Suite 7". If you have a production version, there's a folder for PlanetPress Watch, and another subfolder called Log.
