Other than PDF, is there any way in Planet Press to generate an Excel file?

PlanetPress doesn't generate Excel files. There is no Excel equivalent of Create PDF.

As far as the types of files that you can output your job as, you can use Create PDF to produce pdf files and PlanetPress Image can produce jpeg and tiff images as well. You can also use Printer Queue Outputs of type "Send to Folder" to output your job as a .ps file.

In PPv6, I use a PDF to Text converter, and then use vbScript to generate a CSV file from the text. Pretty simple script.

I then email the csv to out side customers.
