In PP Design I have a data selection defined and in the Archive/Email/Fax section it is checked as 'Email Address(TO)'. This data is then getting put in the xml file from PP Watch even though 'index' is not checked. Is there a way to remove or not get this field in the xml file.

Can you detail more what is happening?

When you say:"This data is then getting put in the xml file from PP Watch"...what do you mean? What XML file?

Ok...you are outputting using PlanetPress Image.

I have tested what you say and the Email field does show in the PPI but not the XML.

What version of the software are you using?

Using Planet Press Suite 7.6 This is what is in the xml in the page section: <Email>NA</Email>

There is not a field listed with that name in the 'Field' section. IT's showing NA because for the test I removed the email address.

I'm thinking I can uncheck the "Email Address (to) box in PlanetPress Design. Then in Planet Press Image pull the email address from a specific location in the input file. Haven't tried that yet, just trying to come up with a work around.

Ah..ok...simply an empty field will not remove the <Email>...yes, you should get the email from the data.
