Hello all,

Have a text box with variables in that pull in different lengths of text through rtf files. Under this box is an image that I would like to move up and down with the varying lengths of text, but am having trouble getting this to work.
Very grateful for any help.

Thanks
Paul

Paul,

This can be accomplished using the Anchoring feature, which you can check here:

Hi Raphaël,

Thanks for the reply, have found that feature in PSM 7 but I am still using PSM 5 and have not found it in that.

Thanks
Paul

Pretty sure it was there in PrintShop Mail 5, on the PC at least. Are you using the PC or Mac version?

Of course, it's been a while so I could be wrong, and version 5 PC is no longer supported. I would suggest you upgrade to version 7(which, if you have renewed the Care, you should be entitled to use it). Note that version 5 and 7 can coexist on the same machine, so you don't have to get rid of it if you don't want to.

The idea is just to overlay some text over an image, but as blocks that stick out from the left with an even amount of padding all the way around the variable-length text.

The problem is that the rect of text object does not grow to accommodate the text which makes text scrolling not work.
