Is there a way to convert the captured signature to tiff or jpg so that it can be used by a signature verification software? and if yes, how?
Knowing that there are 2 signature fields on the page, only the customer signature has to be converted.

You just want a tiff with the customer's signature, and nothing else?

The signature will be part of the final pdf file produced by a standard Capture process. That said, there might be a trick... After you're done with the Capture actions in your process, use a Digital Action that will call a new .ptk document that you will create.

The .ptk document will use PDF Emulation. But rather than displaying the entire PDF in the background, you will select the region in which your signature is found, then right-click and do "Insert Clipped Region". You can then go in the page's properties, and set it's paper size to a custom size that will be the same size as the clipped region, so as to have only the signature. Once it's done, send the document to Workflow.

Back in Workflow, add the Digital Action, and select the .ptk. Set the output type to TIFF, and choose an output folder. You will now have a TIFF file with just the signature, and nothing else. You can then use a Folder Capture to capture it, or just leave it there... it's up to you at this point.

Hope that helps!

Hi Raphaël,

That's a great idea. Thanks a lot.
