I had to remove PP4 from a customer computer. Now when I try to reload it, it won't reload. It's an XP machine and I am logged on as the local administrator.

It seems to load up to the point where it says
"starting services", then it rolls back. I have even tried clearing the registry. I am at the customer site now.

Any suggestions?

Hi,

If you have not done so, please try rebooting before re-installing. If this does not work we will escalate the issue.

Cheers,

Duane M.

Hi,

Uninstall the software, and the folder for PlanetPress. Then reboot and install from the following links. They are the latest versions of the software.

www.objectiflune.com/download/latestreleasev4/presssetupfull.exe
www.objectiflune.com/download/latestreleasev4/watchsetupfull.exe
www.objectiflune.com/download/latestreleasev4/imagesetupfull.exe
www.objectiflune.com/download/latestreleasev4/searchsetupfull.exe
www.objectiflune.com/download/latestreleasev4/faxsetupfull.exe

Then once you have installed, reboot and let me know the result.

Thanks
Team OL

I have done that. I seem to remember this being a problem when PP4 was released.
