Hello,

Please uninstall and re-install PlanetPress. It might solve the problem. Maybe a corruption happened during the install process.

I've narrowed down the issue. When I installed PP4 for the first time, i was using 1600 x 1200 resolution and Windows large fonts under the display properties (advanced section). I was able to access it ok, but the text was too large to be readable. I changed the font size back to "normal fonts", rebooted and got the error above. I uninstalled and reinstalled the program with no success. Finally I changed the fonts back to "large fonts" and it's now working again...

I am now able to access the User Options, but as i stated in the earlier post, the labels are a fixed width and using large fonts excedes the width/height which makes it hard to read. Do you know if this issue is being looked into?

Hello,

I have just set-up my PC to use large fonts and I can easily see and select the user options.

What can't you select or read?

Hi Jim,

You may want to try resetting all your Toolbars and dockable windows to their default position, since you've changed resolutions and some of them might be out of reach, so to speak.
For more info on how to do this, take a look at this FAQ Article on our Support Web Page.

It may not help, but it can't hurt!

OK, I'll give that a try. What i was trying to say earlier is that it might be a possibility that if the program is installed when large fonts are being used, and you try to change back to normal, you get the error i was getting. There are still buttons and text that don't look right and I can't change it without running into that error. To clarify that we are doing the same thing when changing the "font size", this is the process that I used: Under Display Properties, click Settings tab, click the "Advanced" button towards the bottom right side of the window, under DPI Setting, choose "Large size (120 DPI)" Maybe you guys could try a fresh install of PP4 using Windows XP SP2 and choose the Large Size (120 DPI) before you install PP4 to see if you get the same error when you try to go back to normal font size (96 DPI) Let me know if you need any clarification at all. Thanks!!
