mkendrick Junior Member Registered: 10/13/03 Posts: 10 Loc: Sacramento	I tried to create an LPD input. I got the following errors: W2013: Error starting helper PPLpd. W1040: The listening socket could not be opened. Windows could not start the PlanetPress Watch LPD server... server specific error 16842721. In services windows, starting the service produces the error: "W2225 Bind function WSAEDDDRINUSE (10048) address already in use." Any ideas?

stuartg OL Expert Registered: 03/06/03 Posts: 713 Loc: Swindon, England	Each server can have only one LPD service. If you already have one running, you will get errors like this when you try and start another. The standard Windows LPD service is called "TCP/IP Print Server", and you will have to stop this service before trying to start Watch LPD. If you are using any other LPD service you will need to identify it and stop it. Hope this helps Stuart
