I have currently 2 pages, one with my static elements, and the other with the variable data. Is it possible to have these snap together even though they are on different pages, do does it all have to be in the same page ?

Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated.

I'm not quite sure I understand what you are trying to achieve. I assume the static page is set up as an overlay which you displaying on the variable page.

If you change the static page to a virtual page and then add the page as an N-up object onto the variable page, you can define snapping points on the N-up object. Does this help?
