Hi,

We are creating a pie chart in a document and have converted the object to planet press code so that we could put meaningful labels on the pie chart rather than just data values (which are the default labels).

However now we are having a problem. There isn't alot of flexibility with where the label can be placed and if we have 2 very small segements in the pie chart the labels are so close together that they begin to overlap.

Has anybody else encountered this problem and found a good solution to it?

One of our solutions was to group small categories together and put the higher-level group on the pie chart instead. This isn't an ideal situation though.

We would imagine that this must be a pretty common problem and would be interested to hear how other people got around it.

Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Hello,

What would you like to happen? If you can explain the ideal solution to me then I can see what I can do to help you achieve it.
