Matt Stone Junior Member Registered: 11/18/04 Posts: 16 Loc: Tempe AZ	I'm having a problem with PP5, I'm working in a text box and inserting variable fields into a paragraph. The fields pull data from a Access table. The problem is that sometimes in my data the field is blank, but instead of putting nothing into the paragraph, PP is inserting an extra space. I've tried telling it to trim leading and trailing spaces and it still does it. Is there a custom data selection string I can add to get the effect I'm looking for? Please advise.

cosimo OL Expert Registered: 10/31/01 Posts: 1286 Loc: montreal	Hi, I am using PlanetPress version 5.2 and I cannot seem to replicate your problem. I do see the space if the field is empty only in the text object, but works fine on the page and in preview. Thanks Cosimo Team OL
