Hi,

I have a CSV file that could potentially contain hundreds of lines of information per record. My form basically consists of a grid with the headers (from left to right):

Fortnightly Period; Date; Description; Further Detail; Charge; Payments; Balance; Status.

For each of the above columns, I am mapping the data from my datafile. Each occurence of data is 8 lines apart. So for instance, on line 46 is the first occurrence of Fortnightly period, line 47 is first occurrence of Date etc. The 2nd occurrence of Fortnightly period occurs on line 54 (8 lines on from 1st) 2nd occurrence of Date appears on line 55...

Is there an easy way to produce the data or am I going to have to map out each line individually?

Thanks,
Neil.

Ah! So I found the solution here and it works great. My only problem now, is some of the text (in the Description or Further Detail) columns, sometimes have to be written on 2 lines because the data won't fit within the grid on a single line - basically, it appears like this:

Total Charge For This
Fortnight

To achieve this, I am using a text box and selecting my data from there (Right-click>Select Data). Is there a similar method to pick up every 8th line using a text box instead of a standard data selection?

My form is suddenly starting to look a LOT healthier!

Thanks,
Neil.
