I've created a text box that contains a bullet point list. Each bullet point is indented using a 0.5 tab. The problem I am having is that when the item wraps to the next line I am only able to indent that line to the bullet and not to the first letter of the item. I have tried to create a second tab for the wrapped line but it refuses to tab over more. Hitting enter at the end of the first line allows me to tab over to the correct point on the wrapped line, but the "Justify" formatting on the first line disappears so that it is left aligned instead.

Example:

__

JGassoway,

With the text object alone, I can't see how we can do this. It may be possible to do it through PressTalk though. It would be better if we could take a look at your data and your form. Therefore, I suggest you open a technical support issue. Go to our web site, then to Services->Support->Report an Issue, and upload your form and data. We will then try to figure out what's the best way to do it.

Regards,
Rapha

Unfortunately I cannot send my current form or data, so I was hoping to get some suggestions here. I will try to create a new form and test data to send but if anyone has any suggestions in the meantime that would be great! The current thing I'm checking on is seeing if I can break up the letter into multiple text boxes that all have snapping points to each other so I can move the text over for each line individually...

I get a lot of grief with tabs too where at times it refuses to tab across. I generally have to recreate that particular line and then delete the original.

But what does really annoy me is that at times it can loose tabs. This seems to occur if I have to edit some content of a text object (such as a spelling mistake) and then when I look again some tabs have just vanished, it's pretty random. Then at times I get the problem that it won't put the tab back in again.

For wrapping bullets you only need one tab to seperate the bullet point from the text, and then drag the little ^ triangle so it's in the same position as the tab, then you have it wrapping around and lined up just fine. I'm not sure if you can change the ruler, as I find the snap to jumps can be a bit big, so you might end up with a bigger space then what you would like.
