In the Application Event viewer we get the following error. Happens at midnight (12am) each night and we have to start the services up each morning.


The description for Event ID ( 0 ) in Source ( PPImage ) cannot be found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. The following information is part of the event: Service failed on execute: TRwMapiMessage.ApplyRecipients failed, because there are no recipients!.

How do we fix it.

Hi, We have the same problem when using Image in a Watch process.

Our error message in the Application log viewer is slightly different:

The description for event ID (0) in Source (PPImage) cannot be found.
The local computer may not have the necessary registry information
or message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer.
The following information is part of the event:
Service failed on execute: I1017: No MAPI compatable client installed.

Is there a fix for this?

The OS is Windows 2000 Service Pack 3
Watch and Image are both 5.3.4.2644

Bonjour!

Could you look under the services: Start ->Control Panel -> Administrative tools ->
Services
and tell me which profile is use under:
PlanetPress Suite Messenger 5
PlanetPress Image
PlanetPress Watch

I want to know if PlanetPress Suite Messenger 5 is different then the 2 others

ALSO any of these options turned on in PImage
- Send daily log to administrator
- Send error log to administrator

If last one is yes: The administrator email address is valid or is there any address at all?

Having checked our system setup, The Messenger was logged on as Local System User, I have changed this to be the same user as Watch & Image.

The options for the logs where also ticked but no email address given have also sorted this problem.

Will monitor overnight and see if Image works in the morning.

Planet Image is still running this morning so it appears that we have solved the problem.

The image service is using "This account" for the login. So is the watch service.

But the Suite Messenger is using the Local System Account.

We are using Windows 2000 server service pack 4.

PP watch 5.3.4.2644
PP Image 5.3.4.2644
