When I print a document to ps through planetpress, I can generate the correct ps file. When I try and run it through digital imaging with the ptk, I generate a pdf, but it's contents is one page with "Maximum data line length Exceeded"

How do I correct this?

Hi Haller,

Have you tried to increase the value of Max data line length?

In the PlanetPress document:
Under Format / Document / Compilations options

Hope this helps !

Yes, I did incread the value of Max data line length. I believe I read another post and it did not correct the issue. When I clicked on run local, it did then correct the issue. My question now is this a solution or do I need to do something else? What exactly is going on with run local vs. not selecting? Thanks for the reply.

Hi Haller,

Please try the following:

- Open a new PlanetPress document.
- Draw a box.
- File/Print.

Do you still get the 'Maximum Data Line Length' error? If so, what printer are you printing to?

Next step, I suggest you open an issue with us.

Thanks Rina,

I will try that. What does run local do when checking it vs. leaving it unchecked? When I have it checked, it prints the image fine. When I have it unchecked, that is when I am getting the Maximum data line length error. Thanks for the suggestion.

Hi Haller,

For a good definition of run locally vs leaving it uncheck, please refer to this post.
