Hello,

Can anyone tell me where you would insert your two line trigger in AIX version 5.2? We have a client who is printing from an AIX application on port 9100 to an HP 4000. The form document is stored on the printer's hard drive. I have tried following the documentation for implementing a trigger in AIX with the client but the docs don't really explain where the trigger should be placed in the OS so it gets inserted at the top of the data file. As always, the help is greatly appreciated.

You can follow the instructions for Unix System V, AIX supports these commands. If you need more help, please open an issue.

Thanks

Thanks Claude. We ended up implementing a trigger using the printer's Sys-Start feature and an error handler.
