I've noticed that changing the color of text after you've applied formatting such as bold, superscript etc. causes the text to lose all applied formatting. This is particularly annoying when you are using white text because PM6 displays the text as white in the text edit box, which is also white so you can't see what you actually doing. As a result I tried to edit in black and then after I have the text the way I want it, apply the white color... alas doing so removes all the formatting so I am forced to edit text I can't see until it is highlighted and have to constantly guess with the text selection tool as to where in the string I want to apply formatting. Anyone have a work around for this?

Mine doesn't do that. You may want to reinstall. Are you coping in any static text from another program?

Aside from the problem that the formatting is not retained:

Instead of editing in black, you can assign a dark fill color to the object and change it back to transparent later.
