In page setup for the size I choose Postscript Custom Page size but it will not let me define the size. I have Fiery Pro80-S450 65C-KM PS v1.1 chosen as my printer. I have the correct size chosen in the printer properties but cannot get Printshop Mail to change in the custom page size.

sra122,

PSM sees a paper size "PostScript Custom Page Size" defined for your driver. However, for it, it's just another size available, and it doesn't treat it as a customizable size.

What you need to do is select PostScript Custom Page Size, and then go to the Advanced settings of your driver, and configure the custom page size there. This will then apply the custom size to the PS Custom Page Size, and PSM will be able to use it.

Rapha

I have tried that but it appears that the settings when using the Fiery as my print driver are resetting to the default which is letter.

sra122,

Unfortunately, this is a known issue with the current version of PSM, sometimes, the advanced paper handling settings are not kept. Things you can try to fix it:
- Make sure you use a PostScript driver.
- If you have installed service pack 3, uninstalling it sometimes solves the problem.
- Try deleting, then recreating your printer queue.

If none of this works, there is another way to make the custom size works(actually, you may want to try that method first, before trying the above suggestions). Go in the Windows Printer and Faxes folder, right-click and choose "Server Properties". You will then be able to create a new form size. Create one with the size you want, and once done, close and restart PSM. You should then be able to select your new size amongst the available paper sizes.

Regards,
Rapha

The latest version of PSM is 6.1.3. It is available for downloading in the Downloads section, though the problem is still there in 6.1.3.

I'm hearing there is a version 7? Has it been fixed?

Hi,

Try using the Adobe universal driver.
Let us know if this works for you.
It has worked for other customers.

Thanks
Cosimo
