Hi

We have downloaded a trial of PrintShop Web. We have installed it and is working well.

Our problem is when you go to view a soft proof. it errors and shows this error The rendering engine encountered an error.

on the client system we are trialing this from it has Adobe Acrobat 8.1 Professional installed.

I have also tried a client machine which has Adobe Acrobat 7 Standard installed and we are getting the same error when trying to view a soft proof.

How do we go about fixing this issue.

Hi Matthew,

You want to make sure you have a PostScript printer installed on the Web server. Can you confirm this?

Hi,

I have the same problem. If I select a document, the next step is normally a low res PDF preview but I get the following error: Internet explorer cannot download ...ection=template&id=4&ext=.pdf from localhost. The file could not be written to the cache. (I have a demonstration license, with PS printer installed).
