It would be nice if you could select multiple filters in File Name Conditions like you can use in a folder capture.

Examples:

File Name Condition
Code:
CH246UNION*;CH246MANKN*;CH246SUPE
Folder Capture Mask
Code:
 R04576*.pdf;R04573*.pdf;R04572_*.pdf;R47052T*.pdf

Very interesting suggestions. We will add them to our database and see what we can do about them. Keep visiting our web site for any announcement about new features, to see if yours made it!

And please keep sending in the suggestions.

Actually, you can use multiple masks separated by a ";" in the directory input task since december 12 2002. wink

Yannick,

I didn't clearly express my suggestion in my post. So I'll clarify my post.

I would like to select multiple filters in File Name Conditions in a similar fashion to the ability to use multiple masks with a folder capture.

The multiple masks capability of the folder capture plugin is wonderful for reducing redundant processes.

I feel that adding a multiple filters capability to the File Name Conditions would assist in reducing redundant conditions.

This is a special case of compound conditions, which would be very useful.
If X or Y pr Z...
If X and Y or Z ...
All these can be emulated in a script, but it would be nice to be able to do them without scripting.

Does anyone know if this feature has been incorporated in new releases?
