Hi,

We can generate pdf's and use the Soap client to link to the pdf output.
Please refer to the PlanetPress Watch Reference guide for more infor on Soap and/ or HTTP Client/ Server.

Cosimo,

I have generated the employee page(template) with getting the data from xml file with 3 columns. Here I am able to display the data (all the rows) but I am not able to display in the tabler format. So please tell me what I need to do to get tabler format(step by step procedure).

In the site I have gone throgu the documents and presentations, but these are not helped me to fetch the data in the tablar format.

Thanks in Advance,
Laxman.

Hi Laxman,

Regarding the general question of "How to Integrate the Planet Press with .Net", the general answer is to link .Net inputs/outputs with PlanetPress Watch/Server's Inputs/Outputs. In other words, PlanetPress Watch/Server (not just PlanetPress Design) should (or must) be considered for the integration.

Regarding the current issue you are facing, I would be glad to help but I'm not sure I understand what you are trying to accomplish. Is the template you are referring to a PlanetPress Design document ? If so, I understand that you were able to use an XML file as a sample datafile. You were also able to design a page which displays 3 columns, each of which contains data from the XML file. The data iterates correctly through all the records, but you need this data to appear in a tabular format.

That is why I'm not sure to understand your issue : you're saying that you can display columns and rows but at the same time you say that you can't display in the "tabler" format. I must miss some information. Or maybe I'm completely out of track.. confused

In any case, please consider opening a support issue (go to the main OL web site, then from the drop-down menu choose Services/Support/Report an issue), so that a technical support specialist could take a look at your document.

Have a nice day!

Benoit
