Hi,

My company is currently demoing PlanetPress Suite.

I've run into an issue I can't seem to figure out. When I add color PDFs as image resources in Design, they appear in greyscale. I've read in the documentation that some versions of PDFs are not supported, but these are of a version that should be. I even tried importing one of the PP 7 documentation PDFs, and it too was in greyscale.

I can add other image types without issue.

Any ideas?

Justin,

This is a normal behavior. They show up as greyscale to minimize ressource usage, but that doesn't affect the printing or previewing. If you preview or print, they will be in color.

You can turn off this behavior by going to the Preferences->Behavior->Image resources, and check the "Display PDF and EPS in color" option. This will make them show up in color, but note that you may experience a slowdown during the design time if you turn on this option.

Regards,
Rapha
