Is there any way to remove the white background around imported image resources?

kristam,

What do you mean "white background around important image resources"?

If you mean that white portions of the image are not transparent, then it may not be possible to remove it, since PlanetPress doesn't really support transparency. If you were to convert your image to png, a format that has transparency, and you include transparency in it using a photo editor like Photoshop, then the transparency may be kept in PlanetPress. But it has to be in the image already, and even then, it's not guaranteed to work.

Rapha

Sorry, I meant imported. I have tried every possible image format possible with transparency so I guess I am out of luck.

kristam,

One thing you could try is to do in your document's Ressource Options, and set the three resolution parameters to 2400, and the compression level to 100. This will ensure that no downsampling of your image is done, and give you the best chances that transparency will be retained. You may have to reimport your image in the image ressources after changing those settings.

Rapha
