Good morning,
I would like to know if the following behavior is normal.
When I duplicate an object (i.e.: box) it highlights the new object but I am unable to nudge it until I select it with the mouse.
Is this behavior normal?

thanks

Hi,

This is the correct behaviour.
If you duplicate your object while in the workspace area, you will be able to nudge your object without clicking on it because the focus is on the workspace.
However if you duplicate an object while in the tree view, the focus is in the tree view and not in the workspace, therefore you need to click on the object in the workspace in order to move it.

Thanks
Cosimo

Hi,
I understand that it is the behavior built in. I would recommend that the object even if duplicated from the treeview as the focus to be nudged. When you have lots of objects you use the treeview to select it to then be able to nudge or displace it as a user. The software also shows focus on the object that is selected maybe that is the behavior that is misleading or erroneous.

thanks
