I'm setting up multiple PP Design stations, all of which need to upload files to the Worflow server.

Two of them can't see the server listed in the "Send To" dialogue. Two of them can see the server, but see it as "Not available".

The customer believes they have opened up port 5863 on all PCs involved.

The one's that can't see it all are probably on a different subnet, so I'm leaning towards that being part of the issue. I can't put all of the PCs on the same subnet though for various reasons.

Anyone have any suggestions on how to resolve either of these issues?

Anyway to specifically add a server to Design even when it can't auto detect it?

Thanks for any advice!

Donald,

Yes, being on a different subnet is probably the issue. Design and Workflow needs to be on the same subnet, or they won't be able to see each others.

If they are on the same subnet, it should work. Make sure the PlanetPress Messenger service is active on both the Design and the Watch machine.

If you cannot use the computers on the same subnet, you can click on "Save PTK file", and manually copy the file to C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Objectif Lune\PlanetPress Suite 7\PlanetPress Watch\Documents on the Workflow machine. This is the manual way to compile the form.

Regards,
Rapha
