Hello,

We installed PP7. On the server Planet Watch Messenger 7 is started and running. On the Local PC the services for Messenger 7 is started and running. But when you go to send a form from design the Planet Watch is grayed out and unavailable. You can see it in the list. And only Messenger 7 is running on both machines. How do you get it to communicate?
thanks

Are they on the same subnet?

The 2 pieces of software will only see each other if on the same subnet.

Open PlanetPress Watch

Go to tools and then access manager.

Make sure that "Send Document" is checked for everybody.

cpamc,

As Danny mentionned, the 2 systems must be on the same subnet.

In PlanetPress Watch, Tools | Access manager.
For IP address 255.255.255.255, enable the options, Send job and Send document.

Please note however that giving access to "EVERYBODY" means that anybody who installs even an evaluation version of PlanetPress Suite will be able to send documents and jobs to PlanetPress Watch.

From a security standpoint, it is preferrable to give access only to authorized clients.
