I have been having some fun with the new features in PW V7 and have now upgraded from the basic version to the Production Version.

I am expecting to recieve a lot of documents via the new print driver from many applications and need to route them according to the number of pages in the document.

Our envelope machines need either 16 pages or less, 17 - 50 pages and finally more than 50 pages.

I notice the metadata contains the page count and wonder how I can route the documents with this or some other value.

Any advice would be welcome.

Thanks

That's an easy one.
After you capture your job with the WinQueue Input task (make sure to enable the Create PDF (with Metadata) option), add a Text Condition task.

Set the parameters like so:
Code:
String : GetMeta(PageCount[0],1,Job)
Operator : is greater than
Compare to string : 16
Numeric comparison: checked
This condition returns true for all jobs with more than 16 pages. Then, in the True branch after that condition, add another similar condition that checks for jobs with more than 50 pages.

That's it!
