Hi We have a problem, when we try to process 1 to 10 files there is no problem

when we try to process 100 files the system freeze and in the tack manager we can see that the ppwatch service is using 50% of CPU but it stay like this for hours we tryed to stop it and it keep saying DEBUG: Process "POS" is still running...
INFO : Waiting for Processes to terminate (1 process left)...

So we have to kill it,

if we restart it it does some file and freeze again

How can we debug to see where or what cause the programm to freeze

Alain,

The form you're trying to print may have entered an infinite loop. What I recommend you do is maybe add a Send to Folder branch right before sending the data to the form, and save backup copies of the data files. If the problem occurs, try opening the form in Design, and load the last data file that caused the problem in Watch, and see if the problem occurs in Design as well. If that's the case, then you will be able to find out where the problem happens, and you'll be able to prevent it from occuring.

Regards,
Rapha

Thanks I found the problem, we are capturing file from SCO Unix and some time the system print empty page In version 6 i added a validation so empty file are put aside and deleted

in version 7 that make the system freeze
