Hi Im trying to use a functionality called secure print from our printer

Whe are using print using a windows drivers on a konika minolta 750/600

When we added the print box in planetwatch we selected the printer then the property

then print output method : secure print
we entered the a user and a password

but when we run the process its stop and ask for a user and a password.

Is there a way to use what we have set in the property without asking the user and password each time?

Hi,

This will depend on the postscript for that printer. One way of doing this would be to see the postscript job and depending on what commands are added for the secure print, do a search and replace or a vb script that will replace those commands with your parameters.

However the first step is to analyze the postscript and also look at the documentation for that printer in order to see what the commands are.

Thanks
Cosimo

Hi Finaly we found it, we have to use the Postscript Driver instead of the PCL driver.

I have another question

in the printer when I open the box all document are identical Is there a way ti substiture the document name by the invoice number for example?
