MIB Junior Member Registered: 09/04/09 Posts: 1 Loc: Sweden	Hi, When I start the Planetpress Suite 7 Setup, it tells me there are 2 files that it needs to install. I click Install and after a short time it displays the following error message:- "The installation of Microsoft VC++ 2005 SP1(x86) appears to have failed. Do you want to continue the installation?" So, you click Yes or No. I click Yes and PP7 installs. However, what effect will there be due to the above failed installation? Running Windows XP SP3 - Swedish OS.

Raphael Lalonde Lefebvre OL Expert Registered: 10/14/05 Posts: 4956 Loc: Objectif Lune Montreal	MIB, The VC++ drivers may be required to run some of the suite's components or dlls. If you're lucky, certain functions and Watch plugins may not work, but the rest might work fine. If not, however, the entire suite might not work properly. Perhaps you could try downloading the VC++ drivers directly from Microsoft's web site, rather than using the automated download from our installer. Sometimes, this can work better. Regards, Rapha
