I recall this has been discussed before, but I can't locate that specific thread... so I'll start a new one.

I know technically speaking the logs are viewed in a text editor, but I'd like to see the logging system updated to allow for a better log view interface. One that would allow for better searching and filtering. For example, I'd like to easily filter down to view all of the Send To Folder events for a particular day... or all the events that acted on a certain filename.

The interface I imagine would be similar to the Vista/Win2008/Win7 event viewer. It's loaded with searching and filtering goodies. (Maybe PlanetPress Watch events could be integrated into the standard Windows event model so they could show up as an "application" log in the event viewer?)

P.S. Has anyone used a 3rd party log aggregator (like splunk) to view PlanetPress logs?
