I am working on an Intel Macintosh running OS 10.6.4

My data field from Excel looks like the following:
/334184023327/

When I use my expression as follows - [barcode]
The Postnet does not print properly. I guess there should be a long bar in front and also at the end. A total of 62
I am using the following font - PSMPostnetTt

I did a similar job with the following expression -
POSTNET(REPLACE([BARCODE], "-", ""))
My excel field looked differently though
I then go into Printshop 5.4.4 becoming non responsive.

What is the correct expression to use to print properly

DAT01,

What you have is a pre-formatted barcode string. It doesn't need to go through the POSTNET function because it's already a PostNet barcode string, and no longer a zip code.

That said, our own font for PostNet barcodes needs "!" instead of "/", so what you can use is:

REPLACE([BARCODE], "/", "!")

And then just apply the PostNet barcode font and that should work.
