We are getting mysterious random PostScript error when printing personalized images created in DirectSmile Creator. For our workflow, we have to create PDF files that contain just the personalized images. Jobs can be quite heavy, like 15 000 personalized images. We have been scratching our head, why some images cause random PostScript errors for no apparent reason. All the images have been created at the same time. We use the splitting function to separate them to manageable chunks. Usually splitting the job to really small chunks is a workaround for this, but we would really like to get rid of this problem. Here are the errors we are getting when Distilling the PostScript files with "High Quality Settings":
%%[ Error: undefined; OffendingCommand: p ]%%
%%[ Error: undefined; OffendingCommand: ~psmEndEPSF ]%%
We only have these problems when printing these heavy image personalised jobs, so I guess it might be some issue with memory management or the PostScript driver we are using. I can provide all details if needed.
