I am upgrading from version 5 to version 7. I have moved my version 7 test environment to another server with Windows 2008. I am trying to bring a form into the watch config and I am getting an error 'UNABLE to open XFA PDF files'. Has anyone seen this before that can offer any advise?

MVanderford,

Strange error. But if you open your document in the Design tool and try to preview, do you get any errors?

If you use pdf files, have you tried removing them, and if you do, can you send your form to Watch? If that works, then the problem may be with the pdf. I would recommend maybe using Acrobat Distiller to regenerate the pdf files. Try using version 1.4 of pdf for best compatibility. After that, try importing the newly converted pdf files in the form, delete the old ones, then resent the form to Watch and see if that works.

Start with that, and let us know how it goes!

A support ticket was opened for this issue. We ressolved it by converting the pdf file to version 1.4.
