Hello everybode,

Does PSM (Windows 7.0.2) support transparent images in variable image fields?

I have very interesting project that has about 20 different images with transparent background and "outter glow" effect made in PhotoShop. Currently image format is 24-bit PNG with transparency.

In PSM screen, everything seems to be ok, but when I tested the final output with "save as PDF" -function, result was flat, thick, white "outline" around image where "Outter glow" should have been...

Due to design requirements, I need to have transparent background in images... with the glow effect..

Is this hopeless idea??

Jones,

Unfortunately PrintShop Mail Design does not currently support alpha transparency, which I assume is what you're doing since it's a glow. Version 8 (no due date yet) will most likely support it, but at the moment the only transparency is the one you find in GIFs - either it's 100% transparent or it's opaque.
