Hey,
I know I must be missing something very simple but I can't figure it out, I am still pretty new to this program. I have a mailing I am doing and in the data file it has fields that do not go on every record. so like some have the company name and some donot. Now when the field isn't there it leaves a space. How would i get rid of that space when it isn't there? I tried the 'Skip object is empty' from the draw down menu but that didn't work. My data file is a Txt document, but it still happens with an excel file.
I know it has to be a easy fix but I am just drawing a blank right now and need to get this issue resolved.
Thank you

kat rat,

Please open a new topic and give us more details on what you're doing and your own situation as we cannot assume that you have exactly the same situation as Usherwood, and we don't want him to get notifications on your questions and our answers since he already solved his issue over a month ago!
