We are having problems running fax on the main planet press server. I'd like to load Planet Press Fax on a different system with a fax card and have that system process the faxes. Can Watch be setup to have fax on a different system?

Thanks for any help.

Theresias,

Yes, PlanetPress Fax can be installed on a separate server that also houses your Fax software and actual modems.

The two servers need to be in the same IP Subnet (for example, 192.168.1.X), and you'll need to configure the Access Manager on both machines so that they communicate with each other.

Note that you will need to transfer your PlanetPress Fax licence to the new server (there is no fee involved, just a procedure), you can speak to our customer service for this.
