I'm assuming that the Anoto PenDirector could be installed on a local office computer that is linked back to the PlanetPress Production Server that is running on VM Ware at the home office.

Are there any special items that I need to consider?

Hi Uomo,

I cannot think of anyhing special. If the 2 machines can see themselves on the network, you could setup the pen director to send PGC files to a folder. If they do not see each other, you can use HTTP to send PGC files to an HTTP server input task in the workflow.

The usual rules apply regarding firewalls, PlanetPress' Access manager, user rights, etc.

Note that if 2 or more docking stations can be found in the installation at any 2 locations, it is recommended not to use the default Access database, because it doesn't handle multiple requests very well.

Hope this helps. Regards,

Olivier
