Ryan,
For some reasons, it seems the process is unable to stop a service, as if a job was stuck. Can you reproduce this problem easily? For example, if you send a job and it gets stuck, if you kill the service manually, and resend the same job, does it still hangs? If so, then there may be a problem with the data and the form that's causing this.
If you can't, however, it could be due to some intermitent memory issues that can happen if the services runs for a while without being restarted. Judging from the workaround Support gave you, this seems to be the case. Some of these issues should have been ressolved in the upcoming version 7.3, which will come out by the end of July. So at this point, I would say to maybe wait for 7.3, and when it comes out, upgrade to it, and see if that solves this issue.

Regards, Raphaël Lalonde Lefebvre I am sure that this is an issue with PP itself as it has been happening for some time. It even followed when we switched servers to put in a bigger one as we thought this was the issue. I really hope this release fixes this issue as it has been driving me nuts and really hampers the efforts to automate as much as possible. Thanks, Ryan

Any update on this? I was hoping for release notes as well as a release date for the update to fix this issue.
Thanks, Ryan

So I downloaded the update and installed it when it prompted for it. It seemed better for a week but the services were still having issues and threw error messages when I did have to kill the services. The issue with the slowness as well looked as though it was working properly until this morning when I ran a new job after the server has been running for 12 days. Once again it was painfully slow to watch and I had to stop the process and reboot the server in order to finish the job before the day was over.
Thoughts?
Thanks, Ryan
