Is there any way to NOT include a particular output element in the XML file created via the Digital Action? I'm creating PDI and XML files, and for every Page grouping it's adding the Number (for page #, starting at 0).

I'd either like to remove this element completely, or change the value such that it starts at 1 instead of 0 (so I can actually use it as the page count).

chresch,

There's no way to prevent this, short of actually editing the XML after it has been created, such as with a script or a PlanetPress Workflow process. You could just ignore the data if it's not useful, or (depending on where your "page count" is) just add +1 to the number?

Thanks for the feedback. Unfortunately, the target system requires all fields in the XML file to exist, so I either need to remove via script or add a dummy field to the target system...
