Hi

Hope I find you well, I would like to ask if there is a function in PrintShop mail which can be used to convert numbers to words, eg R12 723. 45 to twelve thousand seven hundred and twenty three Rands, forty five cents.

Hi Caleb

There is no built in function like this, I quickly tried building something like this using variables, and it is possible, but will take quite a bit of setting up to achieve.

It might be possible to do this in excel before you bring it into PrintShop Mail.

I just had a look and you can achieve this using excel.

You will however need to add a new module.

To do this open excel and pres Alt+F11

and paste the following code into the window

You can then call up the new module using =SpellNumber(<Value>)

e.g. =SpellNumber(A1)

If you convert all your numbers and save your spreadsheet as a CSV, you should then be able to use the values in PrintShop Mail
