Jim,
The user inferface won't let you load settings from a Distiller joboptions file. However, if you want to "trick" it, the joboptions files corresponding to the settings available in Image are in this folder:
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Objectif Lune\PlanetPress Suite 7\PSRIP\Settings
Adding a new file there will NOT add a new option to the menu in Image, but you could try to replace their content by the content of your own options in Distiller. You could even try to copy your joboptions file, and rename it to match the name of the ones already there. (make sure you back them up)
Note, however, that this trick isn't supported. There is no guarantees that it will really produce the same thing that Distiller provides, nor can we guarantee that your Distiller settings will be compatible with our software. (especially if you use a newer version of Acrobat) So it's something to try, but use it at your own risks.
A better, risk-free method, would be to set all resolutions to 2400. While this may not be exactly the same thing as your own custom settings, setting all resolutions to 2400 will result in no downsampling being applied, and the resolution of the images will be kept, so you should not experience a loss of quality. If you have CMYK colors being converted to RGB, try using PDF/A instead of regular pdf.
Hope that helps!
