Hi

When you select to zip and password protect an email what method of encryption is used

Is it AES Advanced Encryption Standard?

Thanks

The Zip is encrypted using PKZIP's original encryption scheme, for which little information is published, other than it being a basic encryption scheme that's vulnerable to brute-force attacks.

If you are looking for stronger encryption, I suggest you look at other 3rd party packages that you could call as an external program prior to sending the file as an attachment to the email.
