We are using gmail to send out emails. We found this to avoid using SSL (it would be nice if PlanetPress supported SSL). Some of our addresses that are valid are rejected and we get this error in the log files.

Code:

Code:
ERROR: I1024 : ERROR while sending mail : 5.1.1 The email account that you tried to reach does not exist. Please try
5.1.1 double-checking the recipient's email address for typos or
5.1.1 unnecessary spaces. Learn more at
5.1.1 http://support.google.com/mail/bin/answer.py?answer=6596 ej5si6219443icb.44

Any assistance would be appreciated.

Jamie,

Make sure the email address is trimmed properly (removing the extra spaces at the end) if you're using a data selection to fill in the recipient's address.

Also, be aware that Google imposes restrictions on the number and size of emails you can send each day: http://support.google.com/mail/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=22839
