downd OL Newbie Registered: 08/17/11 Posts: 19	Can I change the server name and not cause the software to become 'unlicensed'? We have to move Planet Press (ver7) to a new server. old server server name ABC01 new server server name ABC02 I will be filling out all appropriate paperwork to transfer the licenses... After the old server is turned off I want to rename the ABC02 to ABC01. Will this cause me any activations issues? Thanks

Raphael Lalonde Lefebvre OL Expert Registered: 10/14/05 Posts: 4956 Loc: Objectif Lune Montreal	downd, The activation code is based on the machine's hardware and Windows version. So changing the server's name should not affect the magic number. Regards, Raphaël Lalonde Lefebvre
